- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington is intends to award a Full and Open competitive, Firm Fixed Price contract for 120 dishwashers and 126 gas ranges. The contractor will remove and dispose of the existing dishwashers and install a new dishwasher in accordance with the manufacturer's printed instructions. The plumbing installation of the new dishwasher shall conform with the Uniform Plumbing Code, and applicable local, State, and Federal codes and regulations. The Contractor shall provide electrical wiring of the unit in accordance with the latest edition of the National Electrical Code. Upon completion of the installation, the Contractor shall check the operation of the dishwasher to ensure that the unit functions and operates in accordance with the manufacturer's original design and intent. The newly installed unit shall be in perfect working order, free of leaks and damage. The dishwashers shall conform with federal specification standard 00-G-1513A and be UL-Listed. Minimum basic features of the dishwasher shall include: Dial control; Push button control settings, 3 level wash system, 10 place setting capacity, four automatic wash cycles, pot and pan cycle , light wash, high temperature wash, 3 hour delay wash option, air/heat dry option, slide out and removable dish racks, in-the-rack silverware basket, high-side upper and lower rack, door safety and lever latch lock. Electric: 120 volts, 1 phase, 60 Hz. The contractor will remove the existing gas ranges and associated connector hose from the housing unit and install a new gas range and hose in its place. The Contractor shall install new gas ranges in accordance with the manufacturer's printed instructions. Gas ranges shall be installed level and in proper working order, free of gas leaks, deficiencies, and damage. Installation of the gas range shall conform with the Uniform Plumbing Code, the NEC and all applicable local, State, and Federal laws, codes, and regulations. The combination Gas Range and Single Oven shall be thirty (30) inches wide, shall have a porcelain-enameled cook top, with sealed cook top burners, shall have one maximum output burner that delivers between 1000 to 12000 btus', one simmer burner that delivers between 600 to 5000 btus', and 2 all-purpose burners that deliver between 850 to 9500 btus'. Range shall come equipped with square porcelain-steel grates, porcelain-enameled one piece drip pans, and electronic pilotless ignition. Single oven shall have an interior electric light, shall be not less than 4.4 cubic feet in volume, with electronic clock and timer, slide out broiler drawer, extra-large broiler pan and grid, 2 oven racks with 6 rack position capability, and removable frameless glass oven door with oversized viewing window. The work includes but shall not be limited to providing all necessary labor, equipment, material, transportation, and supervision required to perform the following work. Delivery will be 90 days after date of award. Note: This Acquisition is being conducted using the test program at FAR 13.5. Under these procedures the government is (1) not required too determine a competitive range; (2) is not required to hold discussions; (3) is not required to provide offerors with an opportunity to submit final revised proposals." The North American Industry Classification System Code is 443111. Award will be made to the offeror, which provides the best overall value to the Government.
