- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Mechanical Dynamics Inc. The procurement will consist of five-(5) Adams Software licenses including maintenance and support. Software must perform 6-degree of freedom kinematic simulations in order to characterize flight data of rocket motors and components. Adams software is copyright and propriety to Mechanical Dynamics Inc. The applicable North American Industrial classification System (NIACS) code is 541519. The size standard $21M. The FSC code is D317. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). See Note 22. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Gove rnment Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.nswcindianhead.com/contracts or www.fedbizops.gov.
