Description

Solicitation N00421-02-Q-0018 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a sole source basis with Telogy Inc., 3200 Whipple Rd., Union City, CA, 94587 for the Maintenance Service Contract Renewal listed below. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 12.6. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are: **CLIN 0001 Quantity 12 months, P/N VM700T, Video Measurement Set; **CLIN 0002 Quantity 12 months, P/N VM700T Option 01 NTSC Meas S/W; **CLIN 0003 Quantity 12 months, P/N VM700T Option 11 Pal Meas S/W; **CLIN 0004 Quantity 12 months, P/N VM700T Option 40 audio Measurement Module; CLIN 0005 Quantity 12 months, P/N VM700T Option 48 GIPB Interface. Telogy Inc. has proprietary rights to the equipment and service. Award is expected 01 October 2002. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 23 Sep 2002. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received; facsimile proposals are acceptable.
