Description

Solicitation Number: N00421-02-R-0288. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland intends to negotiate with Cryptek, Inc., 1501 MORGAN ROAD, STERLING, VA, on a sole source basis. The negotiation will be for the procurement of continued fielding of the Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System (JEDMICS) Web Server Security Systems. In addition to supplying the hardware and software, Cryptek, Inc. shall provide the installation, engineering services, operational support, testing, capability demonstrations & analysis, and proof of concept in a JEDMICS World Wide Web (WWW) access environment. Cryptek is the only known responsible source that can provide the required products and services that 1) meets the NSA?s B-2 level for a labeled networked system; now Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (EAL4) for of Information Security Assurance, 2) conforms to NSA?s Communications Security requirements for encryption of information from user desktop to the JEDMICS servers, 3) prevents unauthorized access to technical data at the network level, and 4) has been issued a NIST FIPS 140-1, level 1 certificate. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. See Notes 22 and 26.
