- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAAD05-02-T-0766 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The U. S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Contracting Divis ion, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of two Dri-Prime Pump Sets, Godwin Model CD300M or equal in accordance with the following: Automatic self priming (to 28 ft); 12 inch suction and discharge connection; solids handling to 3 3/4 inch; dry running oil bath mechanical seal; driven by caterpillar Mdl C-9 diesel engine; mounted on Mdl GL14 trailer with integral 250 gallon fuel tank and lifting brackets; average fuel consumption 11.1 GPH @ 1800 rpm. The following ac cessories shall also be included: (a) 12 inch flange x 12 inch male Godwin quick disconnect lightweight galvanized steel quick connect adapter, (6 each); (b) 12 inch flange x 12 inch female Godwin quick disconnect lightweight galvanized steel quick connect adapter, (4 each); (c)12 inch x 10 foot heavy duty black rubber suction hose with Godwin quick disconnect (6 each); and (d)12 inch suction screen with female Godwin quick disconnect, (2 each). Delivery shall be 60 days ARO, F.O.B. Destination Aberdeen Pr oving Ground, Edgewood Area, Maryland 21010. Award of this solicitation shall be made to the low priced technically acceptable offeror. In order to be considered acceptable, the offeror must meet the requirements set forth above. The contractor must su bmit descriptive literature for all items listed above and show that the item offered meets the specifications listed above. Descriptive literature as specified in this Request for Quotation (RFQ) must be furnished as a part of the quote and must be recei ved before the date and time set for closing. The literature furnished must be identified to show the item(s) to be provided to meet the specifications outlined above. The descriptive literature proposes to furnish as to performance characteristics and o peration. Failure of descriptive literature to show that the product(s) offered conform(s) to the specifications and other requirements of the RFQ will require rejection of the bid. Failure to furnish the descriptive literature by the time specified in t he RFQ will require rejection of the bid, except that if the material is transmitted by mail and is received late, it may be considered under the provisions for considering late bids, as set forth elsewhere in this RFQ. An offeror must quote on all items i n this solicitation to be eligible for award. The Government will award on an all or none basis. Evaluation of offers will be based upon the total price quoted for all items. All offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer or Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statu tes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the following additional FAR Clauses: 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.219-8, Utilization of Small Business Concerns and Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns; 52.219-14 Limitation on Subcontracting; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.222-37, Employment Reports of Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. All responsible sources m ay submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. Offers are due at the U. S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, APG Contracting Division, Building 4118, ATTN: AMSSB-ACC-AT, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-3013 by 4:00 PM on 23 Sep tember 2002.
