- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2J62422590100 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The NAICS code is 421690 and small business size standard is 500. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The government intends to issue a purchase order for video-teleconferencing equipment as follows: (1) 2 each Codec 2500 Rackmount with NPP and MS, Tandberg part # 1120063; (2) 2 each Camera with cable and power supply, Tandberg part # 11168800; (3) 2 each Rapid Response Quick Maintenance support for one year, Tandberg part # 112006RR; (4) 2 each RS-449 Secure Communications Cable, Tandberg part # 112089; (5) 2 each microflex gooseneck microphone with LED and on/off switch, Shure part # MX412S/S; (6) 2 each gooseneck microphone base, Shure part # A412B; (7) 1 each 27? FD Trinitron Monitor, Sony part # KV-27FV17; (8) 2 each fiber optic modem, Canoga Perkins part # 2240-S-MC1-01-0; (9) 2 each Magnum 100 high speed data card, ADC / Kentrox part # CC8864C-1536 (refurbished allowed); (10) 3 each LCD 562 5.6? LCD monitor, Marshal part # LCD 562; (11) 3 each LCD mounting stand, Marshal part # V-LCD4-ST; (12) 500 feet of 25 strand data cable (Plenum), Comm Cable part # CA103-25 (substitution allowed). FOB Destination quotations required. Required delivery is 27 September 2002. No partial quotes will be considered. No substitutes will be allowed except as otherwise indicated. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on best value including cost, delivery, and ability to meet requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification - Commercial Items with its offer.
