- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0148 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the following BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Aviation Communications Inc Part Number AC-680, 100 Dichotic Headset-Microphone Headsets. Headsets must meet specifications in MIL PRF-87819/6(USAF) dated 30 Jan 97. OR EQUAL quotes must include proof or certification that this specification is met. (Specifications are available upon written request). The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. OR EQUAL submissions that do not provide complete specifications as set out in the solicitation will not be considered for award. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW.CCR.GOV TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE. PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. ****Offeror Representations and Certifications (FAR 52.212-3), included in the attached solicitation, must be completed and submitted with the quote by the closing date/time.****Closing date/time: Complete written quotations must be physically received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by September 24, 2002 at 12:00 pm CST.
