- The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), intends to purchase Bronchoscopy equipment manufactured by Pentax Precision Instrument Corporation, 30 Ramland Road, Orangeburg, New York 10962. Only the Pentax Precision Instrument equipment will be accepted. The items to be purchased are: 1) One (1) each, DOC-U-SCRIBE, product number 70077; 2) One (1) each, model EPK-700 Color Video, product number 66077; 3) One (1) each, IMS-4000B Image System, product number 68245; 4) One (1) each, HP99OCX1, product number 74165 and 5) Installation Service. The DOC-U-SCRIBE was designed to aid endoscopists in their reporting needs. It combines templates computer generated office/procedure notes and allows for printable images to accompany reports on screen and in hard copy. It is extremely valuable as a database for practice statistical analysis and an important tool in practice management. The EPK-700 Color Video is a compact lightweight combination of light source and processor, producing extremely sharp, high-resolution color images generated by the 410,000 pixels contained in all K-series endoscopes. Next Business Day On-Site Parts & Labor 15"VGA NEC Monitor. The HP990CX1 Color Deskjet combines infrared printing from PDAs, notebook computers, and other mobile devices with two-sided printing and an automatic paper-type sensing mode. Responses to this notice must submit clear and convincing documentation indicating that the items proposed are the brand name items required. This requirement is under the North American Industry classification System (NAICS) 421450, size standard 100 employees. This acquisition is solicited as a total Small Business Set Aside. Proposals are due by 4:00 P.M. eastern time on September 27, 2002. Proposals must include an itemized price, Freight on Board (FOB) charges, delivery time, prompt payment discount terms, NAICS code, Business size, DUNS number, literature and detailed specifications describing the product offered. Proposals will be evaluated on conformance to the government?s specifications, quality, price and delivery time. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency.
