Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS), Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital, Office of Supply Management, is requesting applications for a Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide/Administrative Assistant, is requesting applications for a Personal Services Contract pursuant to the statutory authority of Public Law 103-332, as implemented by 25 U.S.C. 1638c. Work Summary: This procurement is enacted to hire a Physical Therapist Aide to provide secretarial duties and minor therapist duties which are to include therapy scheduling, procuring charts, ordering department supplies, maintaining/cleaning equipment, retrieve and distribute mail, answer phones and deliver messages. Therapist duties include: Assisting Therapist in patient care including use of therapy modalities, massage and therapeutic exercise as well as managing and/or assisting in long and short term projects. Applicants must submit the following information: 1. Resume 2. College Transcripts 3. Two (2) Letters of Reference from previous employers (include Phone Number) 4. BIA Form 4432 / Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood / Proof of Tribal Enrollment (Enrollment Number stated). 5. Salary Indication ? Indicate the hourly wage you?re willing to work for $__________ 6. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Form On a separate attachment, please the KSA criteria. The criteria against which prospective contractors will be evaluated include: 1. Knowledge and skill in computers and standard office equipment, including internet and Microsoft applications (Give Examples). 2. Knowledge of organizing, scheduling and filing procedures (Give Examples). 3. Basic understanding of physical therapy modalities, therapeutic exercise and massage techniques (Give Examples). 4. Knowledge of telephone skills (Give Examples). Award will be made on the basis of price and other factors representing the best value to the Government. The contract shall be awarded for a maximum of one (1) year. The selected applicant must be able to pass a Federal Background Investigation Check (25 CFR 63).
