- Description
- This is a solicitation for maintenance support of Two (2) Mekel M560 Microfiche Turnkey Scanners, one (1) Mekel M500 Roll Film Scanner, and one (1) Mekel M565 Microfiche Turnkey Scanner from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 30, 2003. This service must be performed by an authorized field technician, only authorized factory replacement parts are to be used, preventive maintenance service during the course of the year, and any new software upgrades, changes and installation be provided during the term of the contract. Response time is within 4 hours after notification and equipment must be fully operational within eight hours after notification of malfunction. The NAIC code is 51121, Mekel OEM parts. This serves as notice of intent to negotiate with Crowley Micrographics, Fredrick MD. The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) has a requirement to procure the maintenance support of four Mekel Microfiche Scanners and one (1) Mekel Scanner for fiscal year 2003. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement will consist of the following: Two (2) Mekel M560 Microfiche Turnkey Scanners; One (1) Mekel M500 Roll Film Scanner; One (1) Mekel M565 Microfiche Turnkey Scanner; This synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented. No solicitation is expected to be issued, and no proposal is expected to be requested.
