- Description
- The government intends to acquire a Parkervision CPT-2118-A3N Integrated 3-chip Camera and Robotic Pan (Qty 2) and a Parkervision JSC2000-D Controller (Qty 1) using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside issued as RFQ Number 02-7604-03. Quotations submitted from other than small business sources will be rejected. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items (FEB 2002) and at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (May 2002) applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-5 applies as follows: (a), (b-11, 12, 14, 18, 23, 24), (e). FAR 52-219-6, Notice of Small Business Set-Aside (July 1996) also applies. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING QUOTATIONS: The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The NAICS Code is 443130. The small business size standard is $6M dollars. All quotes shall be on the company letterhead and include whether or not the quoter accepts the Government Purchase Card for payment; prompt payment terms; Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and the full name and address to whom the purchase order award shall be made out to. The period for acceptance of offers shall be Monday, September 23, 2002. Quoters shall fax or Email their quotes to Joyce A. Brewster, not later than 1:00 pm, local prevailing time on Monday, September 23, 2002. The fax number is 404-562-5735 and the email address is joyce.a.brewster@ssa.gov. All quotes shall be submitted on a firm fixed unit and total price basis. The Government intends to award a purchase order without discussions and/or negotiations with the quoter to the quoter that offers the best value to the government based on lowest total price. Therefore, the quoter?s initial quotation shall contain the quoter?s best firm fixed unit and total price. Offerors shall submit with their quotation a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52-212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (JUL 2002).
