- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. F49642-02-T-0309. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 336212 (primarily) or 441229 (secondary) (formerly SIC code 3715). The size standard for NAICS 336212 is 500. LINE ITEMS: 0001 Van Trailer, Length 45 feet, Width 96 inches, Height 108 inches, Specifications: Drop-frame, Air-Ride, Interior Lighting, Cargo ramps with under trailer storage (side or rear), E-track with rails at 18 inches, 36 inches and 48 inches: 1/EA, UNIT PRICE: $_________. A complete price breakdown is required as part of your offer. Also, include picture and catalog information for the line item listed above, if available. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. DELIVERY INFORMATION: Supply will be delivered 30 days after the date of the contract. If this delivery date is not feasible, the contractor shall include the anticipated delivery date in the quotation. The supply shall be delivered to 11 TRNS/LGTM, 362 Thomas Rd, Bolling AFB DC 20332. INSPECTON AND ACCEPTANCE TERMS: Supplies/services will be inspected by a government representative and accepted at the government site. POC: Dana Taylor, 202-767-8033, duty phone. FAR PROVISIONS: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items are hereby incorporated. Addendum to FAR Clause 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition is as follow: 52.237-1, 52.252-1, 52.252-5, 252.212-7000 and 252.225-7000. Add paragraph (l), "Offeror must include, with its offer, a completed copies of provision FAR 52.212-3 and 252.225-7000, in full text." Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items applies to this solicitation, specifically the following criteria: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and price is determined most advantageous to the Government.
