Description
NA The Army requires a construction contract for renovation and installation of elevators in buildings 620, 621, 622 and 623, Fort Stewart, Georgia: The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required as follows : The Renovation for buildings 620, 622, and 623 consists of the addition of a concrete and concrete masonry structure, housing an elevator shaft and elevator lobbies, serving all floors including the basement; construction of new concrete sidewalk, brick pl anter, and UFAS-compliant concrete ramp; replacement in place of all corridor and lobby fan coil units, with the addition of units on each occupied floor and in the new elevator mechanical room; replacement of the existing corridor and lobby floor finis he s, ceilings and lighting; and demolition of extraneous doorways and frames, as applicable. Finishes in the new construction shall consist of acoustical panel ceilings, painted CMU and GWB walls, and VCT flooring. The Renovation for building 621 consists of the addition of a concrete and concrete masonry structure, housing an elevator shaft and elevator lobbies, serving all floors including the basement; construction of new concrete sidewalk, brick planter, and UFAS -compliant concrete ramp; and demolitio n of extraneous doorways and frames, as applicable. Finishes in the new construction shall consist of acoustical panel ceilings, painted CMU and GWB walls, and VCT flooring. This work shall be performed in phases. Work on one building must be completed and accepted by the Government prior to commencing work on another building. Work on each building shall commence within fifteen (15) calendar days and shall be completed with in 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this proj ect is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS Code is 233320. The size standard is $27.5 million. This solicitation will be posted on the Internet only.
