Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR Digital SHUTTLE PROJECT. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify and amend the SOW as follows: 4.1.8 Model Formats The models and assemblies shall be authored in EDS Unigraphics v17 (or later) or Dassault CATIA v5. All models and assemblies shall be delivered as both CATIA v5 and ISO STEP files. These deliverable files may be generated through the use of automatic translation programs. However, the final deliverable CATIA v5 models and assemblies must contain the full construction tree and any associated metadata at the tree nodes, along with layer/level associativity and naming. 5 Contract Deliverables For each model (and assembly), the contractor shall deliver the following: 1. A 3-D solid model (or assembly) in both of the following formats: a.=09=20 Dassault CATIA v5 b. ISO STEP, AP203 (AP214, and others as appropriate) 2. Associated log file 3. Associated tagged text file 4.=20 Check drawing Additionally, the contractor shall provide a written estimate of the cost and time required to maintain a history of the EO modifications as part of the model structure versus not maintaining the history (i.e., modeling the part with EO modifications represented only in their cumulative final state). The contractor shall deliver these items on an MS-Windows compatible CD-ROM. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to September 20, 2002. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on August 19, 2002. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
