- The Customs Service intends to expand by 50% an effort being performed by KPMG LLP of Washington, D.C. which currently includes a review of internal control processes, audit procedures on account balances to support the Department of the Treasury's FY02 Consolidated Financial Statements, a limited review of Customs 3/31/02 interim financial statements and audit procedures to support opening balances at 10/1/02 for FY03 audit of Customs financial statements. The expanded effort will result in a full scope audit of Customs FY02 financial data. No solicitation is available. See Note 22.
