- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for the operation of an industrial wastewater pre-treatment plant located at the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, Texas. This procurement is 100% set-aside with regard to small business. The NAICS code is 561210 with a size standard of $23 million. The contract type will be firm-fixed price with time and material line items for reimburseable labor and materials, and award fee line items for each period of performance. Delivery shall be to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Western Currency Facility, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131. The basis for award will be to the responsible offeror with favorable past performance whose proposal, while reasonable in price, is evaluated as the best overall value to the Government. All interested parties are requested to submit a written proposal which will be considered by the agency. THE FOLLOWING APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS FOR SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL MUST BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE FEDBIZOPS WEBSITE AND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON OR ABOUT 1 OCT 2002. SF33, Solicitation BEP-02-28 sections A through M, Performance Work Statement and Attachments, Performance Summary, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, and contractual-related attachments. Proposals are due no later than 4 p.m. Oct. 31, 2002. Only written, faxed, or e-mail responses will be honored. Written responses are to be sent to The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 14th and C Streets, SW, Attn George Robertson, Room 705A, Washington, DC 20228. If hand-carried, proposals must be delivered to the employee entrance at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 13th and C Streets, SW, Washington, D.C., call for pick-up at extension 43255 and wait with the proposal until it is picked up by a representative of the Procurement office. The Office of Procurement will not be responsible for proposals left unattended with the police officers. Telephone requests for a copy of the quotation or quotations by telephone will not be honored.
