- This solicitation has extened the closing date from 18 Sep 02 to 24 Sep 02. The U S Naval Academy (USNA) has a requirement for rental of three (3) coin operated photocopy machines at the Nimitz Library for use by the Midshipmen, faculty, and other patrons. Contract period is Base Year of 10/1/02 through 9/30/03 with two (2) one-year options starting 10/1/03 and ending 9/30/05. Make of copiers shall be 2530 Sharp or equivalent. Two (2) photocopiers shall be located at the rear of the first floor of the library and one (1) shall be located on the second floor. Maintenance? preventative and remedial, maintenance shall be provided by the contractor. Necessary repairs shall be made within one (1) business day. Maintenance services shall include removing coins from the machines and ensuring that changer mechanisms are adequately supplied and functioning. The Contractor shall supply paper and toner for all three (3) photocopiers. The Contractor shall provide large capacity paper trays; the photocopier must make change for one dollar ($1.00) and five dollar ($5.00) bills. The contractor shall provide a mechanism whereby problems common to vending operations such as bad copies, failure of the machine to provide copies, failure of the machine to provide change, etc., can be resolved. Cost per copy shall be ten cents ($.10) No copy card shall be required. However, prepaid copy cards shall be considered. There shall be a Pre-Proposal Conference on 12 Sep 02 at 10:00 at the Nimitz Library. This solicitation shall close on Wednesday 18 Sep 02 at 1630.
