- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the following commercial item: multi-band, multi-mission manpack radios, to include UHF antenna. Solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in cluded in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF24-02-Q-0257 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solici tation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09. This is an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS code is 334220 and the employee size is 750. This requirement is for a fixed price contra ct and is issued as a Brand name or equal in accordance with FAR 52.211-6(Aug 1999). The identified commercial items consist of the following: ITEM 1: AN/PRC-117F multi-band, multi-mission manpack radio. QTY: 21 each. MFG: Harris Communications. DESCRIPTIO N: Provides continuous frequency coverage from 30 to 512 MHz, while offering embedded COMSEC, SATCOM, and ECCM capabilities. FEATURES: Embedded COMSEC (KY-57, ANDVT/KYV-5, KG-84C and Fascinator) interoperability, MIL-STD-188-181 SATCOM Modem, MIL-STD-188-1 82 Narrowband (5kHz) DAMA SATCOM, MIL-STD-188-183 Wideband (25 kHz) DAMA SATCOM, SINCGARS ECCM Interoperability, Advanced Key Management, including Crypto Ignition Key (CIK) Capability, Multiple Standard Data Interfaces (RS-232E, MIL-STD-188-114A, and RS-4 22), Full remote control capability, built in Test (BIT), software driven, modular architecture. Fully compatible with TSEC/KY-57 and the ANDVT/KYV-5 in voice and data modes. It is compatible with the Fascinator equipment in voice mode and the KG-84C in da ta mode. Transmit and receive SARK operations are fully supported for each COMSEC interoperability mode. The radio supports both DS-101 and DS-102 fill interfaces and all common fill devices (KYK-13, K01-18, KYX-15, and DTD). ITEM 2: RF-3080-AT001 UHF SAT COM Antenna Set. QTY: 21 each. MFG: Harris Communications. DESCRIPTION: Provides frequency coverage from 240 to 400 MHz. FEATURES: Rapid deploy, high gain, crossed yagi antenna for SATCOM communications. A fold down to 18.5?x6?x6? package and is 40?x24?x24 ? when deployed. Antenna provides +7.0 to 11 dBic gain with right hand polarization. The 3 dB beamwidth is 85 degrees. The RF-3080-AT001 includes crossed dipole driven elements, set of reflectors, director extension kits, tripod, and carrying case. Items t o be delivered FOB destination.
