- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This UNFUNDED purchase request (PR) will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the following PR: F1SSF022390800. . (iii) This PR and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. (iv) This acquisition is NOT set-aside for small business in regards to size standards. (v) This RFQ contains 001 line item(s): 7 EACH HOLDER 14 foot Industrial strength sailboat with industrial deck hardware ie. Oversize bow plate, mast step, fixed position harken camcleats for jibsheets, harken camcleats for centerboard, swivel harken mainsheet camcleats, hiking straps, no sail box cutout (to increase floatation), rubber rubrail completely around boat, lexan splashrails, oversize gudgeons, no boweye, extra heavy fiberglass centerboard, ruddr with extra thick cheeks (1/4?), oversize pintles, extra kickup angle for rudder blade clearance, extra heavy fiberglass rudderblade, reinforced aluminum tiller, extra heacy sailcloth (5.3 oz)slotted foot on mainsail, special patches on batten pockets, lexan battens, job specially cut for fixed jib cleat OR EQUAL (vi) Delivery location is Hickam AFB, HI 96853). Acceptance will be performed by the Government. The FOB Point is destination. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition, along with the following addenda (viii) Offers will be evaluated using the following evaluation factors: lowest price technically acceptable.
