- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate sole source with Getinge/Castle, Inc., 1777 East Henrietta Rd, Rochester NY 14623-3133 (a large business) for a Laboratory Steam Sterilizer, Model533LS to include installation of the new steam sterilizer and removal of old equipment. NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED and a technical data package is not available. This acquisition is considered commercial in nature as the item is an off-the-shelf commercial item. Award terms will be based on FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only notice of this acquisition and competitive proposals are not being requested. USAF Academy intends to award this purchase order on the 3rd day after publication of this notice. The NAICS code 339111 applies. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, no addenda applies. Additional FAR clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are: (b) 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 24.
