- Description
- Provide Automatic Surface Observing System (Weather Station) that includes all elements in a METAR observation (e.g., visibility, present weather, temperature, dew point, pressure winds, etc.) with accessories, installation and checkout (Vaisala, MAWS301 Automatic Weather Station, quantity of two (2) ?OR Equal.? Contractor shall provide all required labor, material, parts, transportation, and all else necessary to provide and properly install weather station in conformance with manufacturers instructions, terms and conditions specified in the solicitation. Upon completion of installation, contractor shall provide all labor, materials equipment, transportation, and all else required to calibrate and completely check out the equipment and installation to ensure it is properly installed and ready for full operational use as intended by the manufacturer. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration is applicable. Lack of Registration in Central Contract Registration (CCR) shall make an offeror ineligible for award. For solicitations after 1 Jun 98, all contractors are required to be registered in CCR database to receive a DOD award or payment. In order to register, the contractor must have a DUNS number (call 1-800-333-0505) to obtain one or register via Internet at www.ccr2000.com. This takes approximately 48 hours to process; all other methods take approximately 30 days.
