- Description
- This is a Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Notice is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) #0037379, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The NAICS is 333315. The provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08. This contract action will result in a Firm Fixed Price - one time buy contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Photon Industries, Inc. Bldg. 9313 Suite 167A Stennis Space Center, MS 39529. The requirement is for: (1) UV Camera Accessory for the RDACS/H3 Hyperspectral Imaging System. Specifications: Compatible with RDACS/H3 hyperspectral image systems and data acquisition software, ultraviolet spectral range (200-400 nm), spectral step size less than 5 nm. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposed of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
