Description

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Information Resource Center, through the Acquisitions Branch, Program Support Center (PSC), intends to award a (12) month sole source simplified acquisition to National Academy for State Health Policy, 50 Monument Square, Portland, ME . The purpose of this simplified acquisition is to revise and update the Child Health Toolbox, an online resource to help health plans and health care programs measure the quality of child health care. The toolbox describes the process of developing and customizing performance measures as well as their application. It also provides information about and links to new and emerging child quality measures as well as those that are in widespread use (e.g. CAPS for children; AHRQ Quality Indicators; HEDIS measures for children; Title V Performance Measures having to do with health care delivery). This proposed requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only one source is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates in a written narrative format detailed information addressing their ability to meet the requirement and objectives as described in this synopsis. Capability statements can be sent via fax to (301)443-8488. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received within 5 days from the date of this synopsis, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the award to National Academy for State Health Policy.
