- Description
- Upgrade of HAVC System: In order to accommodate the numerous servers being added to the DCMA New York hub site, additional cooling capablility is needed. DCMA New York is presently operating the computer room with a 5 ton unit that furnishes 60,000 btu's of cooling. DCMA New York present configuration of servers is generating approxinatly 92,000 btu's of heat. In order to remedy this situation , DCMA New York requires a 10 ton unit which would provide 120,000 btu's of cooling to operate as the primary support to the current configuration, as well as provide for future expansion. The current 5 ton unit would continue to operate on a back up basis only, in the event of mechanical failure of the proposed 10 ton unit. All prospective bidders must minimally , provide the following for consideration under this acquisition: (1)10 ton unit All duct work necessary to complete this upgrade All electrical work necessary to complete installation Installation of outdoor concrete pad All work to be performed during regular business hours All labor and materials not mentioned herein must be included in total price
