- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. The solicitation number is F41614-02-T0094 issued as a request for quotation. Responses/offers are due by 23 Sep 2002. Please visit www.eps.gov and register to automatically receive procurement notification from EPS. The system will inform you, via e-mail, when there has been activity on EPS concerning this solicitation. Solicitation provisions are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 and DCN 20020730. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses only, with a NAICS Code: 811113 and the Size Standard: $6.0 million.. CLIN 0001: Contractor shall furnish Transmission for P-23 Fire Truck, Part Number: 26-0300-01, Model Number: TD-1172, MFR: Twin Disc, Inc. Brand Name Only. No ?Equal? products will be considered. Price to include core rebate if applicable. FOB point is Goodfellow AFB, Texas, 76908-4705. In accordance with FAR 52.252.1, the following solicitation provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors, Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, with the following amendment. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and Past Performance.
