- The NTSB proposes to procure on a sole source basis from Fluent, Inc. the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software program FLUENT, software maintenance, user support and training. The decision to acquire this CFD software on a sole source basis is because Fluent is the foremost CFD software package for complexity, accuracy, interactivity, ease of use, and is utilized throughout the aerospace, automotive, and marine industries.
