- This is a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation/Solicitation for Commercial Supplies/Services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request For Quotations and incorporates Provisions and Clauses IAW the FAR/DFAR. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This a competitive procurement. Award will be based on lowest bidder meeting all specifications. This is a SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT TO PROVIDE FULL ON SITE MAINTENANCE FOR THE FOLLOWING VIDEO TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM EQUIPMENT FOR THE PERIOD 01 OCTOBER 2002 THRU 30 SEPTEMBER 2003: SYSTEM 1: EM-1, COVERS ALL EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS INCLUDING THE GFR (DSS RECEIVER, VHS VCR AND DVD PLAYER) SYSTEM 2: LC-5000 CUSTOM ROOM, PRESENTATION/VIDEO CONFERENCING SYSTEM. COVERS ALL EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS AND INCLUDES CHARACTER GENERATOR. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDED ON A 12 HOUR PER DAY, FIVE DAYS PER WEEK (12X5) BASIS TELEPHONE HOTLINE. 30 MINUTE PHONE RESPONSE TIME DURING BUSINESS HOURS 9:00 AM THRU 9: 00 PM, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, EXCEPT HOLIDAYS. SKILLED OPERATORS/TECHNICIANS WILL ASSIST FIWC PERSONNEL WITH CORRECTING OR RESOLVING PROBLEMS. IF THE PROBLEM CANNOT BE RESOLVED INSIDE ONE WORKING DAY, REPLACEMENT EXCHANGE PARTS AND QUALIFIED TECHNICAL SUPPORT ARE DISPATCHED WITHIN THE SECOND BUSINESS DAY. DEFECTIVE PARTS ARE REPAIRED ON SITE BY A CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. SPARED PARTS LISTING IS MAINTAINED BY VENDOR TO SUPPORT THE LC5000 SYSTEM. CODI OPTIPLEX CHARACTER/GRAPHICS GENERATOR AND LC5000 INFRARED RED REMOTE MUST BE COVERED UNDER THIS MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT. FIWC WILL PROVIDE VENDOR THE MASTER AMX PROGRAMMING SOURCE CODE.
