Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Washington, DC intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed price contract with NOMOS Corporation for hardware and software full service preventive and remedial maintenance support services plus hardware upgrades on a NOMOS Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) equipment that consists of the PEACOCK/BAT/COVUS hardware and software components located at the National Naval Medical Center, Radiation Department in Bethesda, Maryland. This will be awarded as a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1. See Note 22. This contract will consist of a base year period and four one year option periods. The FAR clauses 52-217-9 "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract "(MAR 2000) and 52-217-8 "Option to Extend Services"(NOV 1999) will be included. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. All responsible sources may submit an offer, however, only services meeting the Navy's requirements will be considered for award.
