- Description
- The Government is seeking interested sources for a proposed 5 year contract (Base Year plus 4 Options Years) to perform preventative maintenance and repair of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment, systems and controls (control systems include electric, pneumatic and direct digital controls) in approximately 17 buildings. The work will be located at the Naval Complex, Newport, RI. The solicitation will be a "source selection" type procurement and offerors will be evaluated on technical merit as well as price. The qualifications and experience required of personnel working on equipment are extensive including license requirements for pipefitters, air conditioning mechanics, and extensive training and experience on HVAC control systems, chemical treatment systems, and other related HVAC work. Interested sources should submit their qualifications via e-mail, within three weeks of this announcement to cournoyerr@nsnpt.navy.mil. Sources should indicate the quantity of employees with the type of qualifications mentioned above for each employee, their related qualifications and the years of experience. Also, indicate the firm's experience with HVAC maintenance and repair type contracts.
