- Maintenance of Government owned Aircraft, Anchorage, Alaska. The Department of the Interior is seeking proposals for contractor furnished aircraft maintenance services to be performed withn a Government furnished facility located in Anchorage, Alaska. Services of a minimum of 3, maximum of 8, Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics with Inspection Authorization (IA). Aircraft are single engine piston powered, including Piper PA-18, Cessna 185/206, Aviat Husky, Maule M7, Scout and Dehavilland Beaver (Includes one turbine powered Beaver) . Aircraft configurations include wheels, wheel skii, straight skii, amphibious and straight floats. Services to be performed primarily in Anchorage, but will include travel throughout the State of Alaska. Contract term, including options 56 months. Solcitation issued in conjunction with OMB Circular A76 and represents a cost comparison between contractor and Government operation. This represents a re-solicitation of RFP 8102-11.
