- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F4LG5022380100 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) seeking written offers replacement of the Exhaust System in Building 171, Randolph Air Force Base, TX a copy of the Statement of Work is located in Electronic Posting System]. The provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS is 42173 and the business size standard is $5.0 million. The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the quote that provides the best value to the government. The performance period is no later than 30 Sept 02. Interested parties capable of providing the above must contact TSgt Lewis @ 210-652-5121. A written price quote to include discount terms must be submitted. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Responses to this notice shall be provided in writing via e-mail to TSGT Aubrey Lewis@ aubrey.lewis@randolph.af.mil no later than 19 Sept 2002 at 4:00 P.M. (CST).
