- Description
- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, has a requirement for a preventive maintenance agreement for government owned (2) ea Gambro blood cell separators, Model: Spectra. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX, proposes to award a single award contract with 1 base year and (4) one year options for renewal. Contract period for base year October 1, 2002 thru September 30, 2003. This solicitation is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102 (a) and is prepared in the commercial item format and is consistent with FAR Part's 2 and 12. This solicitation is unrestricted. North American Industry Classification System 811219 applies. The small business size standard is $5 million. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Facsimile and telephonic requests are not acceptable. Offeror's must use the electronic medium outlined above to access solicitation package. Offers should be submitted to the address listed on page 1 of the solicitation. Amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments, signing up for bidders list in FedBizOpps will automatically electronically notify you of any amendments to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer. All responses must be received no later that 4:30pm CST, September 27, 2002.
