- Description
- 1. The United States Border Patrol El Paso Flight Operations is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation EFO-2-Q-0026 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. A single award will be made. The guaranteed Minimum for award is $25,000 and the Maximum will be $200,000 for the life of the contract. Delivery shall be within 4 weeks after award of the contract or and subsequent delivery order. Only new special tools are acceptable. Delivery is to be FOB Destination to the U.S. Border Patrol Air Operations, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906. Delivery Orders may be placed by Contracting Officers at the issuing office. The term of this contract shall be one year from date of award. The Contracting Officer's Technical Representative will be David Taylor (915 782-4450 X 118) of the El Paso Air Operations. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the most advantageous offer to the Government, price and other factors considered. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm's DUNS number.
