- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3829. Small business size standard is 500. NAICS is 334519. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking sources for the anticipated purchase of the following items. Four (4) -20 to +120 deg F, 7 day 4" temperature chart reports with digital display, Four (4) 4" chart, -20 to +120 deg F, 7 day charts for SL4120F7, Four (4) Carrying cases, 5", nylon material with loops and hoops to hold charts, Four (4) Temperature, pressure, universal, input, event replacement pens, -6 Red color, Five (5) Remote sensing temperature, humidity, and dew point recorder, -8" chart, Specifications Follow: Humidity Accuracy: ?2% from 0 to 60%, ?3% from 60 to 95%, Humidity Range: 0 to 95% (non-condensing), Humidity Sensor: Monolithic IC Humidity Sensor, Temperature Accuracy: ?1.8?F (?1?C), Temperature Ranges: User selectable; -20 to +120?F, +40 to +110?F, -20 to +50?C, +5 to +40?C, Temperature Sensor: Thermistor Alarms: Audio/Visual with High/Low set points (warning mechanism only, no controller function) Alarm is 90 decibels, Ambient Operating Conditions: 0 to 95% RH (non-condensing), +32 to +122?F (0 to +50?C), Calculated Dew Point Accuracy: The Dew point is calculated and because of the nonlinearity of the equation the error that would result from the possible errors of temperature and relative humidity are approximately as follows: 95% to 30% RH = ? 2?C, ?3.6?F; 30% to 10% RH = ?4?C, ?7.2?F; 10% to 5% RH = ?8?C, ?14.4?F; 5% to 0% RH = ?49?C, ?88.2?F, Calculated Dew Point Range: -22 to +122?F, -30 to +50?C, Average Response Times: 2.5 min at 63% of full scale Note: The THDx internally averages readings together.
