- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies issued by the 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This document was prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This electronic announcement is the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Reference number F445RS22490200 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 336413 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for the following product: - 10 SETS OF CORDURA NYLON ENGINE INLET AND EXHAUST COVERS WITH SILKSCREENED MISSION LOGO FOR RC-135, TF-33 ENGINES. AN OR-EQUAL IS ACCEPTABLE. (MISSION LOGO WILL BE PROVIDED TO CONTRACTOR UPON AWARD). The required delivery date is four weeks after award. QUOTE MUST INCLUDE UNIT PRICE AND EXTENDED PRICE. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. All quotes should be received by September 20, 2002/1 pm (cst) and, sent back electronically via e-mail, if possible or by fax. If quoting on an or equal, please provide the technical specifications with the quote. THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) BY 20 SEPTEMBER 2002. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW.CCR.GOV TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE. The following clauses and provisions will apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. Offerors shall include a complete copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the offer. DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, is applicable to this acquisition as well. This acquisition is being subject to the availability of funds IAW 52.232-18. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
