Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote solicitation number is M00681-02-T-V226. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 and DCN 20020730. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures. The Federal Supply Code for this acquisition is 8970, the NAICS is 722310 with a small business size standard of $6 Million. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is: DO-C9E. The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest Camp Pendleton CA, has a requirement for the following: 1) Catering breakfast and dinner for up to 350 personnel for the period 23 September 2002 through 13 October 2002 (21 days). Breakfast will be served at 06:00-07:30, dinner will be served at 16:30-18:00. Delivery will be made to the following location: Moffet Field San Jose, CA. Minimum guaranteed amount: 250 meals per meal, per day. Menu choices are to be submitted with quote. The following conditions apply: On a daily basis, twenty four hours prior to meal delivery, the government will provide the vendor with the number of meals needed for breakfast and dinner. The Government will only be charged for the number of meals ordered twenty-four hours in advance or the 250 minimum if so applicable. Meals will be delivered and tables will be set up by Contractor personnel. The Government?s assistance will be provided for the actual serving and portion contr ol. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible quoter whose offer is technically acceptable and quotes the lowest price. All Contractors submitting an quote are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, with the following additional FAR clauses being cited as applicable to this acquisition; 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222- 37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. Quoters shall be required to submit the following information in order for their quotation to be considered: 1) Prices for meals, including delivery and set up charges. 2) Confirmation of being able to meet the required delivery schedule 3) Menu Items to be provided. 4) A completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications found under the following provisions: FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Represe ntations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, DFARS 252-212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items. Copies of the Representations and Certifications, as well as any of the previously mentioned provisions and clauses may be found at the URL listed below.
