Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation for Commercial Services/Supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request For Quotations and incorporates Provisions and Clauses IAW the FAR/DFAR. This is a competitive procurement. Award will be based on lowest bidder meeting all specifications. INSTALLATION OF VIDEO PRESENTATION SYSTEM TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS: ITEM 1: HARDWOOD CUSTOM LECTERN 6 EACH. ITEM 0002:JVC RX-7020VBK RCVR/AMP. ITEM 0003 :JBL CONTROL 28 SPEAKER 12 EACH. ITEM 0004: CRESTRON ST-CP2PAK-C ST1550C/STDS//STBTP/CNRFGWA/[4]1RP2/PW-2420RU 6 EACH. ITEM 0005: SMART X-PORT 30 SWITCHER 6 EACH. ITEM 0007: ALTINEX TNP-121 TILT-N-PLUG JR 6 EACH. ITEM 0008 ONYX MATERIALS CABLES AND HARDWARE 6 OTS. ITEM 0009: CHIEF CMA-100 CEILING MOUNT 6 EACH. INSTALLATION TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK INTRODUCTION: VAW-120, COMMAND CARRIER AIRBORNE EARLY WARNING SQUADRON 120, BELLINGER BLVD. NAS NORFOLK, VA. 23511-2296. Point of contact will be Lt. CDR. Edward Sims e-mail (sims el@vaw120.navy.mil) and Mr. Phil Jenkins e-mail (jenkinspt@caewwl.navy.mil) phone numbers comm. 757-444-4140 and DSN 564-4140, request installation for six electronic class room MML Training Computer Systems. The installation will be state-of-the-art multimedia Lectern presentation systems. Location for these systems will be, first floor of building SP384 class room # 103, room # 107, room # 109, room # 111, room # 113, and Department Training room # 208 on the second floor, on the Naval Air Station Norfolk. All software/courseware and syllabus materials are presented through computer based integration and are compatible with off the shelf presentation. The system must be engineered to operate in a multimedia environment, controlled integrated switching, is required in each room to coordinate a Hi-resolution LCD projector, one S-VHS VTR, one DVD player, one smart/board and one Dell Computer. The integrated switch should contain a connection for a visual presenter/document camera and a laptop computer. All components will be operated from a multimedia lectern with a touch, wireless, color control panel. The systems will integrate government furnish Audio/Visual Equipment (GFE) with the contractor furnish wiring and material, programmed control switchers to create a user friendly state-of-the-art Electronic class room training module for courseware with the use of smart technologies. The instructor will be able to select a media format through computer base presentation programs such as Access, Excel, Power Point, and computer Graphic. Computer generated briefings, presentations and training programs, can be stored on neither VHS video tape, Compact Disc, DVD or other storage media. This will incorporate computer base graphic with state-of-the-art, multi presentation system that can accept the above mentioned storage media is required to effectively present briefs and training material. CLASS ROOM SIZES: VAW-120 Pilot Training Classroom # 103, Classroom # 107, Classroom # 109, Classroom # 111, Classroom # 113 all are 18Ft X 18Ft and the VAW-120 department Training Classroom 208 is 18Ft X 36Ft.: 1. VAW-120 Building SP364 is designated as Pilot Training, for the Norfolk Naval Station. The installation contractor must follow all safety, security, architectural guidelines for this facility. 2. The following A/V Devices, items must be reused in this project, NEC MT1040 Projector, ceiling mounting brackets. 3. Remove 70x70 inches Da-lite wall screen for Vaw-120 to return to FASOTRAGRULANT. 4. Remove and pull out all old wiring, before new project wiring is installed. 5. All ceiling wiring installed from and to LCD projector, speakers, video and audio installed must be pass through the conduit to the floor. 6. Connection between the multimedia Lectern to external devices (i.e. LCD projector, speakers) is to be configured so that the multimedia lectern can be relocated to another classroom. The connection between the multimedia lectern and the external devices is to be configured as a single plug and box mounted receptacle. The umbilical cord between the multimedia lectern and the wall mounted box receptacle containing the cables is to be encased in a nylon braided sheath and then terminated on one end to a Amphenol Standard Cylindrical Metal Shell CPC connector plug that will connect to the box mounted Amphenol CPC connector receptacle. 7. All other items can be engineered and programmed around a Crestron controller as contractor agreed. 8. The contractor must provide detailed wiring diagrams, Cads of each system, along with programming codes that will become the property of the government. The contractor will provide an operator?s manual for each room. 9. Protective covering for memory switches, and amplifier memory switch components. FASOTRAGRULANT as government agent will furnish the following government equipment (GFE): (6) NEC MT-1040 LCD XGA Hi-resolution on site, (6) JVC S-VHS VTR Player, (6) JVC DVD Players, (1) Wolf/vision Document Camera, (6) RF GryroMouse and (6) Dell Pentium III Computer System Model GX-150 with software licenses. THE CONTRACTOR: Must provide (6) Custom Hardwood Multimedia Lecterns, (6) JVC-RX-7020VBK Receiver/Amplifiers, (12) Control Speaker, (6) Crestron ST-CP2 ST1550/STDS Controller Panels, (6) 72" Dia. SB 580 Smart boards with X-Port Switchers, (6) Laptop computer Tilt-in-Plug connector for laptop computers, (6) Ceiling Mounts and Brackets for projector mounting, and all cables wiring hardware, programming, CAD Drawing and other materials included in this project.
