- Description
- The 89th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips (ADAC), located at 540 Alder Drive, Milpitas, CA 95035, for the maintenance of ADAC Solus w/Pegasus 20, Modem and UPS; ADAC Solus w/Pegasus 20, Modem, UPS and Gate; and ADAC Pgasus 15 and UPS Nuclear Medidin Scanners used by the Malcolm Grow Medical Center. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The 89th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract seven (7) days after publication of this notice.
