- Description
- The United States Marshals Service (USMS), Western District of Texas intends to contract with the San Antonio Express News for the advertisement of legal notices on judicial cases involved in Asset Forfeiture. It is required that the newspaper must be of general circulation and the approved advertising must advertise the required time, dependent upon the legal notice, in the Sunday Newspaper. Legal Notices are part of the Court documents that are ordered by the judge. The Western District of Texas does not consider the small legal publications to be in general circulation. The San Antonio Express News is the only newspaper of general circulation in San Antonio, Texas and is the only vendor that has been identified as capable of providing the advertising in the San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas for the required time. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all inquiries received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries must be made by e mail or faxed to the point of contact listed.
