- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The procurement is for: Services non-personal to provide all labor, parts, materials, and any necessary items needed to provide preventative maintenance, and on-call services for all strength and cardio equipment in Travis AFB Fitness Center. The service shall include but is not limited to inspection of parts for wear, adjustment impending breakdown, adjustments for wear, replacement for worn or damaged parts, cleaning, lubrication and protection from deteriation or corrosion, to ensure safe and dependable operational status of 198 pieces of equipment. The contractor shall be able to provide the above maintenance description, as well as being able to work on the following types of workout equipment: Life Fitness treadmills, cross trainers, recumbent bikes, free weights, and strength equipment; Stairmaster stair steppers; Precor treadmills, upright bikes, and cross trainers; Body Master strength and free weight equipment; Cybex strength and free weight equipment; Revmaster spin bikes; and Iron Grip free weights. This maintenance contract will be from 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09 and DCN 20020730. Vendor must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. This combined synopsis solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and will be incorporated in the Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, to include clauses (b)(11),(12),(13),(14),(15),(16),(17),(22), and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Quotes shall be transmitted by e-mail or FAX (707) 424-2712 and are to be received at the 60th Contracting Squadron no later than 12:00 PM PST on 18 September 2002.
