- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER, REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 03 SPEND PLAN. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73COM22410100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. This acquisition is restricted to Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 811212 with a small business size standard of 6million dollars. Statement of Work for SmartNet Contract covering CISCO products 1. Provide automatic updates, on request, of all major releases, with sophisticated upgrade planning processes, as well as maintenance fixes. 2. Advance replacement of hardware parts in the event of hardware failure. The vendor shall provide a hardware replacement unit delivered within 24 hours of receiving the request. 8x5xNexzt Business Day Guaranteed delivery of hardware replacement parts the next business day, provided that the request is received before 3 P.M. local time. 3. Major and maintenance release of CISCO IOS? Software via CISCO.com or media. 4. 24x7 access to Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for priority 1 (P1) and priority 2 (P2) telephone support with critical problem escalation (telephone callback within one hour by the CISCO TAC) for all hardware, configuration and software problems, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, excluding Cisco observed holidays. It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 303 J Ave Bldg 302, Altus AFB, OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 CST, 27 Sep 2002. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letter head or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-7025. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price factors only. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (July 2002) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, please request one from SSgt Jaypee Magbitang, and a copy will be faxed. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Feb 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2001). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (May 2002)and its deviations (Apr 2001) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing. No telephonic responses will be processed. Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2525 Rev. 22 applies and is incorporated into this Solicitation and may also be incorporated to any resultant Purchase Order if applicable. If a copy of the Wage Determination is needed, please request one from our office, and a copy will be faxed.
