Description
Contraction Office Address Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 90 CONS, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 Description: DESCRIPTION AND ATTACHMENT(s): Non-personal service to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation necessary to provide and install an audio/stereo at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. Service will be done at the Youth Center Phase II (gymnasium) F. E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne WY. The contractor shall furnish the following and supply labor and lift, if needed, to install speakers: 6 Bose 402-II loudspeakers, 2 Bose 502B Bass Module, 6 Bose WBP-4 Bi-Pivot Brackets, 1 Bose System Controller, 2 Bose 1600-VI Amps, 1 Shure Microphone and 15 Feet of cable, 1 Bose 1800 VI Amp, 1 Toa 8 Port Mixer, 350 Feet of CSC 16 AWG cable for bass modules, 1200 Feet of CSC 18-2 Speaker Cable, 6 AF 140 Atlast 70 Volt Autotransformers, 1 mounting plate for transformers and mounting hardware, 1 Shure LX24/58 Diversity Wireless Microphone System with SM-58 Cardiod Microphone, 6 protective cages for Bose 402 speakers, 2 Toa-U01R music input modules for mixer, 2 Toa-M01F microphone input modules for mixer, Lowell portable equipment rack(Model #L258-36), All mounting hardware and speaker connectors. Install the stereo/audio system, when installed, will provide gymnasium with audio capabilities-ability for spoken audio and playing music via speakers. Speakers and Bass Module will be installed in gymnasium at positions that will minimize reverberations (coordinate with Youth Director). Speakers and bass modules will be mounted and installed and programmed according to manufacturer?s specifications. Contractor according to manufacturer?s specifications shall complete all installation/hook-up between microphones, mixer, system controller, amps, speakers, and bass modules. Faxed or telegraph offers will be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented and additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F48608-02-P0150, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The North American Industry Classification System is 421620 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract listed here is Set Aside: 100% for Small Business. Anticipated award date is 1 October 2002. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition in accordance with the specifications. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Summary of Services Proposed: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items. The clause FAR 52.2 12-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items ? applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) 11 ? 15, 24 and (c) 1 2. The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside, and DFARS 252.212-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Program (41 U.S.C. 10, E.O. 10502)(Over $10,000); 252.225-7036, Buy American Act ? North American Free Trade Agreement ?
