- NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is conducting market research into electronic purchase requests (PR). The contracting organization currently uses the Procurement Desktop Defense program (Standard Procurement System (SPS) from AMS corporation) t o enter data from customers, track workload, and to construct contracts. Customers prepare a PR, submit it in paper form through the mail to the contracting office, which in turn inputs relevant information from the paper copy into the SPS computer progra m. DTRA is interested in the capability of customers preparing and submitting PRs in electronic format to the contracting office. The contracting office would then transfer the document electronically into SPS. If your organization currently has an elec tronic product that meets these standards, please reply with relevant details, e.g. name of product, approximate cost, interoperability with SPS, details on ease of use, and other information you feel useful in understanding your product.
