RFQ N00383-02-Y-AIPP. This performance based logistics (PBL) support includes the just-in-time delivery of spares, management of asset repair, engineering support, and integrated logistics support. The Anti-Surface Warfare Improvement Program (AIP) greatly expands P-3C mission capabilities with addition of electro-optical sensors, third generation infrared sensor, synthetic aperture and inverse synthetic aperture radar, Electronic Systems Measures bearing accuracy, and radar warning improvement s. The requirement demands the aggressive pursuit of systems reliability improvements through effective configuration and obsolescence management, technology insertion and innovative product and support improvements. Performance is planned to commence FY03 for five years, with five one-year option periods. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to Lockheed Martin on a sole source basis; however, all qualified sources capable of total operational logistics support are encouraged to express their interest in writing by close of business 01 November 02.
