- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a Sole Source basis to Synergy Microsystems, Inc., 9605 Scranton Rd., San Diego, CA 92121 for Single Board Computers and Software. The Government plans to issue a request for written quote to Synergy Microsystems Inc. using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The anticipated award date is 30 Sep 02. This process is being processed on a Sole Source basis because the computers being purchased are identical to those used in the existing data recorders. This equipment is necessary for 100% compatibility between the existing AN/WSQ-9 data records and the new recording system that will be used for at-sea testing. The minimum requirements are: SBC/VCMD-SM40E-FXNBSNB3 - Single Board Computer (SBC) with Single 7410, front panel SCSI, ethernet and serial ports - 2 each; SOF-VX-SMON-X750UBF200-540-IL -VxWorks/SMON boot code Loaded in flash - 2 each; SOF/VX-X750UPC200-540-1L - VxWorks BSP includes as part of maintenance agreement - 1 each; VCMD Users Manual - Users Manual Included for free - 2 each; CAB/SCSI-W1D1M - 1 meter SCSI cable - 2 each; SOF/VX-X750AMC-5 - 12 month maintenance agreement for VxWorks - 1 each; SMON Users Manual - Users Manual Included for free - 2 each; SBC/VCMD-DM45E-GXNCSNB3 - Single Board Computer (SBC) Dual 7410, front panel ethernet and serial ports and rear (P2) SCSI - 4 each; PCA/TPMD-XBSNB - SBC Transition Module for rear SCSI - 4 each; SOF/VX-X750UPC200-540-1L - VxWOrks BSP, one time charge - 1 each; SOF/VX-SMON-X750UBF200-540-1L - VxWorks/SMON Boot Code loaded into flash - 4 each; CB1/J10J8J81m - Serial port splitter cable - 4 each; VCMD Users Manual - Users manual included for free - 2 each; SMON Users Manual - Users manual included for free - 2 each; SOF/VX-X750AMC-5 - 12 month maintenance agreement for VxWorks - 1 each. Any Company that believes it has the capability to meet the Government's minimum requirements is invited to submit a quote for Government evaluation.
