- NA This is a combines synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for a 1-2 Ghz Amplifier. The amplifier must be capable of producing 2000 watts of output power with 60 db of gain in CW/AM/FM/PM modes. It must include an IEEE 488 G PIB interface. Input power shall be 220v 3-phase and the amplifier must be 19 inch rack-mountable. This equipment is vital to an upcoming test and must be delivered within 4 months from the date of award. Failure to meet this critical delivery time will delay testing. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 dated 29 Jul 02. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 33422 0 with a size standard of 750 employees. There is one contract line item (0001) for a quantity of 1. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. If you do not a ccept VISA, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the technically acceptable, low price proposal. You shall submit commercially available literature on your unit that demonstrates that all of the above capabilities are met. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 (52.203-6 Alt I, 52.219-14, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 52.232-36).
