- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F26600-02-Q-B059 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334111. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is less than or equal to 500 Employees. This Request for Quotation is being submitted as a total small business set aside. This is a commercial purchase. Contractor?s quotes shall include pricing for the following line items; 0001- four (4) each, Channel bank chassis, WESCOM part number 360-22 0002- eight (8) each, Channel bank chassis power supply, WESCOM part number 3609-04 0003- eight (8) each, Bank line interface unit LIU, WESCOM part number 3603-02 0004- eight (8) each, Bank Digroup interface unit DIU, WESCOM part number 3608-04 0005- sixty-six (66) each, E & M Card, WESCOM part number 3652-68 0006- two (2) each, UPS, Rack mount, 1500 VA/975 W, APC part number SU1400RMXL4U 0007- eight (8) each, Optical transceiver, LARUS part number FT-2ER 0008- three (3) each, Optical transceiver shelf, LARUS part number 1187-1 Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror who provides the best overall value to the government, based on price. Quotes should be in the following format; price for each line item independently and a total price. Quotes should also include an F.O.B. point, delivery time, warranty information, and prompt payment terms. Offerors to also supply Duns and Bradstreet registration number, C.C.R. Cage code, and federal tax identification number. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is also applicable. The following factor will be used to evaluate the offer: Price.
