Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female offenders in the Marquette, Michigan (Marquette, Baraga, Menominee Counties) area. Residential CCC services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment including subsistence. TDAT services include individual assessments, individual counseling sessions, and group counseling sessions. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2000, Revised December 2000, August 2001, November 2001, May 2002 and Amended August 2002, and Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) dated November 16, 1999. An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices with a two-year base period and thee one-year option periods is anticipated. Estimated requirements for the CCC services for the base period is 7,310 inmate days, Option Year One is an estimated 4,015 inmate days, Option Year Two is an estimated 4,380 inmate days, and 4,745 estimated days for Option Year Three. Estimated requirements for TDAT services for the base period and option year one is 2 intake assessments for 12 inmates, 3 intake assessments for 6 inmates for option year two, and 4 intake assessments for 7 inmates for option year three; 288 units 30-minute individual counseling session for base period and option year one, 336 units 30-minute individual counseling session for option years two and three; 864 units 30-minute group counseling session for base period, 432 units 30-minute group counseling sessions for option year one, 504 units 30-minute group counseling sessions for option years two and three. The solicitation will be available on or about October 14, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides doenloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Estimated closing date of the solicitation is January 14, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
