- This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4416-02-T-0044. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations. The provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-9 are incorporated into this solicitation. This acquisition is 100 percent small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 421430 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. Item 0001: Hewlett Packard LaserJet 1200 Printer (Quantity 11), Item 0002: LaserJet 1200 parallel printer cables (Quantity 11), Item 0003: Cannon BJC-85 Color Portable Printer (Quantity 11), Item 0004: Cannon Care Extended Service for BJC-85 Printer (Quantity 11), Item 0005: Sony VPL-CSV LCD Projector SVGA (Quantity 11), Item 0006: Sony 24X7 On-Time Support (Quantity 11). Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition with the following addenda: paragraph e is deleted. FAR provision 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable to the solicitation and the evaluation criteria is price. All offerors should include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. Far clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the following addenda: 52.247.34 F.O.B Destination and 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Term and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Commercial Items is applicable to the acquisition. All offers must be registered in Central Contractor Registration prior to award. Lack of registration will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors and may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Offers are due on 17 September 2002 before 4:30 PM Eastern Time at the 89th Contracting Squadron, 1419 Menoher Drive, Andrews Air Force Base Maryland.
