- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service intends to award on a Sole Source basis the following requirements for Electronic Internet Access for Library Services on behalf of all current employees, contractors, cooperators and volunteers performing work on behalf of USDA. All users listed above will be acting within the scope of their relationship with USDA, and any public on-site users, who are duly authorized by the Government to access USDA's secure intranet. This access is for ordinary business, scholarly and educational purposes of the Government, and for personal use, consistent with the Fair Use provisions of the United States and international copyright laws. The sole source awards are intended to be awarded to the following companies listed below for the period beginning September 1, 2002 through August 31, 2003 with additional option years as specified below: NISC - base year with 3 option years (Wildlife Journals) BIOSIS - base year with 3 option years (Animal Sciences) Nature Publishing Group - base year with 3 option years (International Weekly Journal of Science, and the flagship product of the Nature Family of Journals) American Association for the Advancement of Science - base year with 3 option years (full text access to Science Online) Congressional Quarterly Press - base year with 2 option years (Congressional Journals/Magazines etc) ASAE - base year with 2 option years (Engineering as it relates to Agriculture - Magazines) Cambridge Scientific Abstracts - base year with 1 option year (Aquatic Sciences & Fisheries Abstracts) Business Support Assoc., Link - base year with 1 option year (Online Publications) Wiley Interscience Sales Manager - base year with 1 option year (Scientific Journals) BIOSIS - base year with 1 option year (Bioscience Research Journals) NISC - base year with 1 option year (Fish & fish Culture) CAB Abstracts - base year only (Article Abstract Records) Blackwell Publishing - for base year only (Science Publications) Institute for Scientific Information Research Services Group - for base year only (Science Publications) NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-JUL-2002).
